A very pretty house - near to Gourdon!

Ref:  3433g

Price:  259.000€ (agency fee included)

What a delight to visit!  Very pretty and charming house situated in a countryside village type location with small commerce nearby and a superb lake.  Just five minutes from the town of Gourdon in the LOT, South West France.  An interesting and house, with its lovely original features, exposed stonework and beams...  yes a real homely feel about this one.

The property sits quite high up and so you have nice countryside, green views especially from the lovely terrace...

*Kitchen/dining room
*3 Bedrooms
*Office
*Lounge
*Bathroom
*Huge basement (could be made into an apartment)
*Garage
*Garden1352m²

The kitchen is a corner type kitchen ...  the room has a nice feature where the old stone sink used to be.  This is a spacious room and is certainly the hub of this household.  In fact they live in this room during the day I think!

As they live in the kitchen the lounge room is hardly used but this again is a good size room of 33m².

There are three bedrooms in total and a good bathroom.

An office....
Under the house, there is a huge basement.  Presently used to store a boat!  I thought this was a great space.  Could easily be transformed into an apartment ....unless of course you have a boat too!

Outside, the garden surrounds the house.  The fabulous stonework is striking and makes this property just so lovely and it's so typical of the region.  There is a great little private seating area and a beautiful little stone built   kind of shed in the garden - formerly for pigeons but a fantastic little interesting feature and posh home for your garden implements!

My view:  Very nice.  If you are looking for something typical of the region - this has to be on the shortlist!
